Modular seating is a great idea for gardens because you can move it around to suit either the number of people who turn up, or to find the sun (or shade come to that) or just change it according to your mood.
These moulded fibreglass pieces come in different shapes and you can buy as many as you want and configure them how you please. You can even mix in plant pots as well.
They come in various bright colours including glossy orange, blue and pink and are made by Sui Generis, which was established in 1996 to specialise in bespoke fibreglass mouldings.
This year, the Sui Generis furniture will on be display at the Hillier Garden at Chelsea Flower Show and the company has very kindly invited me (and my mother) to vist their stand and have a look around the whole show.
I will be reporting back over the weekend and, hopefully (driving rain not withstanding) able to show you lots of photographs of the gardens.
Hillier Nurseries and Gardens have just won their 68th gold medal at Chelsea.
