Paint: The Italian CollectionGraphenstoneGraphenstone makes the best eco-friendly paints you can get, and has become a go-to brand for many of the world’s top interior designers. I worked with the company’s technical team to create a new collection of 12 heritage-inspired colours, which I used in my own historic house renovation project in Turin. The palette combines the deep, romantic shades of northern Italy with softer hues of the British countryside. It’s a set of timeless, complementary colours that can be combined in endless ways and would work for you wherever your home is.
Carpet: Quirky BloomAlternative FlooringI’ve admired Alternative Flooring for ages. I had their Spotty carpet (from the Quirky range) on the stairs in my last house – and it still looked great after more than 10 years of day-in-day-out traffic, so I can personally vouch for the quality. I’ve been delighted to collaborate with them on the creation of Bloom (also Quirky range), a daisy-faced floral inspired by nostalgia for the free-spirited Sixties that comes in six colours. A new design for 2024, Bloom is ethically sourced and climate-friendly, with sustainability woven right through. There’s a no-strings five-year warranty, too.
Tiles: The Italian CollectionMaitland & PoateTo complement my paint collection with Graphenstone, I joined forces with Maitland & Poate to make a special range of hand-made encaustic tiles based on traditional southern European motifs. These are now available in five distinctive patterns, each in a variety of colourways influenced by the original features of my Italian house. Maitland & Poate is a unique business driven by the founders’ commitment to using only original materials and sustainable manufacturing. Their products are stunning.
